HOKKAIDO, JAPAN

Traveling to Japan is as exciting as overhelming from the very first moment you land in Tokyo, as you get surrounded by a non stop  flow of interesting food, language and culture.

Getting to know and understand it can take time but is worth it as you’ll get inmerse in their people ways full of respect, care and also fun.

Hokkaido gets, with the NW winds, coming straight from Siberia, the largest quantity snow fall, 24/7. Sometimes thiner, sometimes thiker, sometimes for 2 months, sometimes for 4. All of it under your feet if you have enogh base on your snowboard or your skies to keep you floating.

Japan has been welcoming us for the last three years. Arrived here with the goal of spending one season as a savatical year and then go back to the french/swiss alps to our normal lives.

That never happened. After living in Hokkaido for 2 months the decision was taken. We were staying.
